FINANCIAL DAY A Nairobi County Jubilee politician and aspirant for Senator in the 2017 elections has been appointed to the Board of the Kenya Cultural Centre Council. William Wahome Kabera, who in the last elections was one of the unsuccessful contestants for the Jubilee Senator nominations in Nairobi, losing to Senator Johnson Sakaja, joins the board of the Kenya Cultural Centre that is responsible for development and promotion of Kenya’s cultural performances and managing the Kenya National Theatre. Mr. Kabera is an accomplished production specialist, being a graduate in food science engineering and a two-decade veteran at Coca Cola (Nairobi Bottlers) where he rose to become Plant Manager. In the past, he also served as a board member at dairy processor New KCC for 3 years. The Kenya Cultural Centre, a semi-autonomous government agency, has the critical mandate of the development and promotion of the performance of music, drama and dance; exhibition of works in Kenya.
