Ride-hailing platform Bolt has said it is committed to the welfare of its drivers as it seeks new collaboration with the driver federation.
Through an exclusive driver engagement forum it held with the National Digital Transport Federation, the on-demand mobility firm seeks to foster cordial relations with the driver community on its platform.
During the forum, several issues affecting drivers, such as welfare, safety and regulatory matters were discussed, kicking off a series of engagements Bolt will have with drivers.
According to Bolt, this underpins its commitment to prioritizing the needs and concerns of its driver-partners in addition to its dedication to shaping the future of transportation on its platform.
“We are excited to collaborate with the National Digital Transport Federation as a representation of drivers on our platform, as we aim to enhance our driver engagements. At Bolt, our driver partners are at the heart of our business, and events like these enable us to listen, learn, and evolve together,” said Bolt Country Manager Linda Ndungu.
“We believe that by working hand in hand with them and with other key stakeholders, we can create meaningful impact and
shape a future where everyone benefits,” she added.
Bolt noted that it will hold several driver engagement events in other parts of the country including Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru to foster cordial relations and enhance its driver community initiatives.
