Adili Corporate Services Kenya has discontinued its service as the share registration service provider for Carbacid Investments Plc.
In a statement, the Board of Carbacid Investments announced the appointment of Custody & Registrars Services (Kenya) Limited as the Company’s Share Registrars with effect from February 16, 2022.
The board did not however the reasons that led to the exit of Adili Corporate Services.
“The Board of Directors thank Adili Corporate Services Kenya and its predecessor, Specialist Corporate Consultants for their excellent service over the years,” the board said.

This comes at a time the Group Company Secretary of Carbacid Investments Mr Nalin Kothari retired from professional work after having served the Group for forty years.
He ceased to be the Company Secretary of the Company and its subsidiaries with effect from February 16, 2022. Mr Kothari has been the Company Secretary of the Company since June 1980.
“He has provided exemplary service to the Company. The Board of Directors deeply appreciates his significant contributions to the Company over the years. The Board wishes him a happy retirement,” the statement added.

In his place, the Managing Partner of Adili Corporate Services Kenya Mr Conrad Nyukuri was appointed with effect from February 16, 2022.
Conrad holds a BSc Business Administration degree and is a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries Kenya with over twenty-five years post-qualification experience.

Conrad is also an affiliate of Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland (formerly the Institute of Certified Secretaries and Administrators of UK).
Carbacid is 49.9 percent owned by billionaire investor Baloobhai Patel, valued at Ksh1.6 billion.
